I’m seeing that! Over and over. Very frustrating!

I'm going to try to start studying more Chinese too, but I confess it's difficult to learn such a complex language alone.

Brilliant! Thank you for the warm welcome! I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the people dropping in to say 'Hi'—admittedly, not much more than that. And I can understand not wanting to waste too much time writing when you don't even know if they will write back. But still, it's more than I expected, considering I'm an older lady. :) And because I'm nice, I want to respond to everyone. Soooo... there is guilt. It's a learning experience for sure.

My best friend said I was the nicest girl in the world. If so, that means I was born in the wrong country. :) But... I was adopted. Interestingly enough, I had a DNA test and I'm English, Irish, Swiss and Scandinavian. No wonder I'm as white as a week-old corpse. And, surely it's the English genes behind all that nice. Now I understand. :)

I can't even imagine having a puppy. It's been a while. We have an 8-year-old Yorkie-Poo. Long past the puppy years. Though, we have to remind her that every now and again.

Hope you had a nice New Year's Eve. Fireworks are still sputtering, but they are winding down.
